Back to Reu...School Visits

Jeff's Mom works for the Department of Education here in Reu.  This Monday they were doing evaluations of some of the schools in town of the neighboring towns.  It was an eventful day of visiting schools and a 3 hour meeting to discuss the findings.

In the most underdeveloped school we saw.  Classes were held outside in the shade.

Back to Reu...Wedding Crashing

There was a neighbors wedding this weekend, so I crashed it with Jeff's Family.  Needless to say I did not come prepared with the right clothing or makeup...but I did have my camera and somehow became the official photographer.

Jeff's Aunt and Uncle (both ends) were the godparents of the couple.

Halfway through the ceremony they stopped everything and people
lined up to give the bride and groom their gifts.

Back to Reu...Cemetery

This weekend we visited the local cemetery to clean and beautify the graves of some family members.  I think we visited 15 in total.  I was a little caught off guard when Tio grabbed the machete as we walked in...but soon I realized it was for cutting grass.

Absence in Blogging...

...last week was because I spent many, many hours finishing the weaving of my fabric!  Yeah!

(the finished fabric as she took it off the weaving apparatus)

They finished sewing the bag over the weekend.  Will post photo of it soon!
